Rent a kayak and paddle the lakes solo or with friends. Kayaks are a great way to get out on the water together but in your own boat.  FortWhyte offers three connected lakes to paddle.  Make sure to take a break in your paddling strokes to look for fish, painted turtles, eagles, pelicans and more.  You are truly in nature right in the city!

The individual 10’ Sit-In Kayak features a seat with cushion and back rest, upper zippered compartment to take items with you, safety kit and a paddling life vest for unrestricted paddling. Suitable for those under 300lbs.

The tandem 11′ Sit-In Kayak let’s you paddle on the water together.  It’s great for two adults or a fun way to take kids out on the water with you. The tandem kayak features seats with a back rest, a well compartment to take items with you, safety kit and paddling life vests for unrestricted paddling. Suitable up to a combined weight of 500lbs.

Kayaking is a great option for those new to paddling and those who have been out on the water many times before.  Our hour rentals give you time to explore and our 90-minute rentals truly give you time to take it all in.
